1. Sep. 2026: 2 new releases: Custom views & clearer user administration

Today we're introducing two updates:

  1. Custom Views, which means you can save multiple combinations of filters you've applied in reports and reload them any time, instead of re-entering them from scratch.
  2. User Administration – access settings, which means the single Enabled column has been split into two clear settings, Username/Password and API Key, so it's obvious exactly how each user can authenticate.

1. Custom Views

Tired of rebuilding the same filters every time you open a report? Not anymore.

Who is this relevant for?

All customers working with report filters, especially in the Intercompany (IC) report, where filter lists are typically long.

What's new?

  • Save the filters currently applied in a report: dimensions, tags, and other search criteria.
  • Reload a saved view any time, in one click, instead of rebuilding it next time you log in.
  • Available across multiple in-app reports
  • Most valuable for the IC module, where reports typically involve a combination of several filters during the reconciliation process

Views are saved per user, not per company.

You only create a custom view tied to your own user; another user won't automatically see the one you've saved.

This is a view/workflow improvement only; it doesn't change any underlying data or calculations.

2. User Administration – access settings

Ever had to guess whether a user could log in, use the API, or both? Now it's spelled out for you.

Who is this relevant for?

All customers who manage users, especially admins who also manage API/integration, users.

What's new?

  • The single Enabled column is now two separate settings: Enable Username/Password and Enable API Key
  • See at a glance exactly how each user can authenticate, instead of one combined checkbox
  • A user is considered “Enabled” as soon as at least one of the two is switched on
  • Easier to manage integration users, with less risk of confusing an API-only account with a regular application user

Example scenarios:

  • SSO-enabled customers can disable Username/Password, so users only have access through the SSO
  • Set up an ‘Integration-only’ (also called Service account) user (Username/Password off, API Key on) to use with external integrations only;
  • Fully disable a user (both off) who then has no access to Konsolidator or the API.
