Best Practice: How to use Analytical dimensions in Konsolidator

With Analytical Dimensions, you can now explore your financial data in greater depth with up to three dimension groups– giving you more flexibility and control in your reporting and analysis.

For example, you might want to create dimension groups such as:

• Country
• Department
• Product Category

You can analyze your figures directly in the Dimension Report by setting up your desired dimension groups and uploading them into Konsolidator.

How it Works

First, start by opening the Upload Report inside Konsolidator.

1. Go to UPLOAD
2. Click on a company (1) or report icon (3)
   1. Alternatively, click on Reports (2) and then on the report icon there.

You can now start filtering on the analytical dimensions within the Upload report.

Drill down into specific accounts

You can now drill into a specific account. Simply click the “+” icon until the relevant group account is fully expanded. From here, you can review the details of the different dimension combinations on a local account level.

Multiple dimensions on local accounts

If you see a +1 indicator on the right-hand side of a dimension name, this means that the local account contains more than one dimension group.

Filter on specific dimension groups

You can use the filter option in the top right corner to keep track of all your dimension groups. By default, all dimensions are selected, but you can narrow the view to get a better overview of the relevant dimension groups. That also means that you can now create multiple combinations.
