Create a new parent account
Below you find a written guide on how to create a new parent account.
When you want to include a new sum account in Konsolidator there are two steps to be done:
1. You create a new group account in Konsolidator that you in the future want to be the new sum/parent account (please see the guide on how to create new group accounts if needed)
2. Go to the group account that you want to change the sum/parent account for. Click the 3 dots on the right side of your screen select Edit account and change the parent account.

When standing in the group account overview it is possible to see the parent account for the selected group account. In this example, I mouse over account 11300 and the parent account for this group account is highlighted with a purple color in this example 11999.

Please be aware that if there already has been created a consolidation with the old sum/parent accounts it is not possible to change it by yourself. A support case for the development team must be created using the support request form found in Konsolidator Kommunity.
The updated sum/parent accounts will be functional from the time it is created and not in historical consolidations. To include this change in historical consolidation you must reopen historical consolidations and press consolidate again.
We do not recommend reopening already reported periods.
