New upload template per 15. September 2025
Following the release of the new multiple dimensions groups in Konsolidor, all upload templates can now be customized. This release does not affect your current Konsolidator set-up
Step 1: Customize a template and upload data
Find the template by:
- Go to UPLOAD
- Click on MORE in the header
- Click Template
Then click on the template to see the new template page.
Template explained:
You can now choose the order and structure of your template, making it easier to adapt your data to Konsolidator’s upload format.
- Left-hand side:shows the expected format of the current template.
- Columns A–F remain unchanged, with the letters corresponding to Excel columns.
- Right-hand side: shows the unmapped fields with the new dimension groups.
NB: You only need to make adjustments if you want to include the Analytical Dimension or create empty columns for notes
Step 2: Check unmapped fields
If you are using Analytical Dimensions, check the Unmapped Fields section on the right. This section shows dimensions that have not yet been assigned to a column in your template.
To map an unmapped dimension:
- Drag it from the right-hand side
- Drop it into the desired column on the left
Tip
Clicking the “+” button adds a new empty column called Unmapped. This can be used for comments or other notes, and Konsolidator will not read the data there.
Step 3: Save your customized template
After you have mapped your dimension groups:
- Ensure that all required dimensions are mapped.
- Click SAVE
- Click GET TEMPLATE to download your customized template.
The downloaded file will contain the same three sheets as before:
- Template
- Company list
- Dimension list
Step 4: Fill out the required fields
The following fields remain mandatory:
- Company short name
- Local account number
- Amount
These fields can now appear in any column – they no longer need to be fixed in columns A, B, and E.
Amount field format requirements:
- Values must be in local currency per entity.
- Values must be accumulated (year-to-date).
- Debit/credit logic must be correct:
- Revenue and liabilities = negative values
- Costs and assets = positive values
Step 5: Upload your template
Once your Excel template is ready:
- Go to UPLOAD
- Click on the “upload” button in the header.
- Select your Excel template.
Remember to assign it to the relevant period, source, and structure.
