January updates 2023: what's new and what's fixed

Below you can read about January's software updates and bug fixes

What's new:

Improved performance on loading time when users:

  • Consolidate KPIs
  • View the Group accounts list
  • Disable/enable accounts
  • Delete journals

Konsolidator now locks the following features, so users cannot:

  • edit any information on the journal details page when a period is closed
  • detach the last company of a structure

Group accounts under Setup have two new user-friendly features:

  • Users can now see the name of the Elimination type instead of a checkmark.
  • Users will no longer be redirected to the front page when saving. Konsolidator now remembers the user's last action and stays on that tab until another is clicked.

General software updates:

  • We have utilized the enter key. When users want to confirm a "Calculate&Post" or the opening of a period, they can now click on the Enter key to continue;
  • Users can now upload trial balances without using account names in the upload; Konsolidator automatically applies the account names from the mapping.
  • It is now possible to create and view all the lines in long journals when hitting the Tab key.

Bug fixes:

Uploading errors, fixed:

  • Users should no longer experience that Konsolidator accepts uploaded trial balances to ignored accounts in the mapping of local accounts.

System calculation errors, fixed:

  • The few Profit/Loss distribution journals ending with a 0.01 balance should all now balance and show 0.00.

General software fixes:

  • When a user copies journals, the attachment symbol will remain visible.
  • For customers using Tolerance, all users, including those who do not have access to the top company in the security settings, can now successfully Calculate & Post journals.
