We have just released a new feature, “Reapply Mapping,” that improves the workflow inside Konsolidator for all our users.
If you update the mapping after all trial balances are uploaded, you can now apply the changes without having to re-upload the trial balances again.
How do I use "Reapply Mapping"?
In the scenario where you have changed a mapping after your subsidiaries have uploaded, follow these steps:
- Go to the UPLOAD page
- Click on >>MORE
- Click on the “REAPPLY MAPPING” button
- In the pop-up, select the uploaded companies you want to apply the latest mapping changes to.
- Voíla, the new changes have been added without you or your subsidiary having to upload again.
Important: Applying these changes cannot be undone.
How will the new Reapply Mapping improve our reporting process?
You can now reapply your mappings from local accounts to your group accounts by clicking one button. This means you will not have to upload again, thereby:
- Save valuable time when making changes to the mapping
- Automate a manual process
- further increase efficiency in the reporting process
