What’s new?
- Create and edit tags directly in Group Accounts
- Assign tags to accounts for internal or external reporting
- Use tags in Power BI or Excel for customized reports
- Combine tags with existing dimensions for advanced analysis
Example use cases
- Bridge Reports: Build Local GAAP vs. IFRS comparisons with tagged accounts. Helping customers who keep their books under Local GAAP (e.g., PGC in Spain) but must also report under IFRS.
- One-off vs. recurring expenses: Separate extraordinary items from recurring costs. Helping CFOs who want to separate extraordinary items from recurring operating costs.
- Temporary projects: Add short-term reporting tags and remove them later. Helping groups with short-term projects that do not justify using a new analytical dimension.
- Audit focus: Tag accounts for audit or transfer pricing analysis. Helping teams when auditors ask for special focus on provisions or intercompany balances.
Tags complement analytical dimensions by adding flexibility for reporting and analysis.
