September & October updates 2023: What’s new & what's fixed
Below, you can read about September's & October's software updates.
What's new:
We have improved the integration features so:
- Finance & Operations users can now select which Konsolidator source (Actual, Budget, etc.,) to export to. To select which source, click “settings” in the F&O app and choose the correct Konsolidator source.
- The Xero integration now includes account type in the upload and can therefore be used by the AI mapping. This means users will no longer experience that P/L accounts are put into B/S accounts and vice versa.
The new dashboard visualizes and guides the process better from upload to reporting; therefore, you will now find that:
- A cashflow card has replaced the exchange rate card.
- The reporting card has been introduced with 3 links. 1 to Reports and 2 to our Kommunity (containing additional reports).
To improve user experience, the system now auto-creates a mapping for a new company upon upload and automatically puts the unknown local accounts in that mapping.
Another noteworthy update, aimed at the data specialists, is that users can now find an updated API description here: (https://api.konsolidator.com/swagger/index.html).
What's fixed:
Automated update of manual elimination journals, fixed:
- Users who experienced that posted elimination journals were affected by the system elimination journals will no longer experience this.
Automated system journal “Exchange rate adjustments - equity”, fixed:
- A few users who added new companies during the year experienced an error in the automated calculation of exchange rate adjustment after filling out the information in “FIRST CONSOLIDATION”.

- We have fixed a mistake in the system, where Konsolidator automatically calculated an exchange rate adjustment by comparing the exchange rate from the month prior to the first consolidation period and the period-end rate, resulting in an inaccurate Exchange rate calculation. In line with the accumulated exchange rate adjustment (going back to the date of creation/acquisition) the first years adjustment must be inputted (and calculated) manually.
